The Roger Bannister 50p marked the 50th anniversary in 2004 of the first four-minute mile. This 2019 dated Brilliant Uncirculated 50p is a re-issue of the original 2004 coin to celebrate 50 years of the 50p. The design by James Butler shows an athletes running legs and a stopwatch time of just under 4 minutes. The fifty pence piece is presented in a Coin Hunter card measuring 85mm x 61mm, sealed and protected by a plastic blister.
