The denomination is shown on both sides of this 2019 British Culture Set 50p, "50 PENCE" on the obverse and "NEW PENCE 50" on the reverse.

New Pence Britannia 50p in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, the coin is presented in a Coin Hunter card measuring 85mm x 61mm (height / width in portarit orientation), sealed and protected by a plastic blister.

Brilliant Uncirculated coins are produced to a higher standard, this 50p shows more detail and has none of the marks and scratches found on circulation coins.

The coin reverse by Christopher Ironside shows britannia, seated beside a lion, with a shield resting against her right side, holding a trident and an olive branch; and a privy mark referencing the science behind its shape with the figure "50" together with the words "NEW PENCE".

The 2019 New Pence Britannia 50p won't be found in change, as this design was not struck for circulation. This coin was only available to buy in Brilliant Uncirculated quality, the number sold / mintage is 97,770 coins.
