Where to buy the 2022 Elizabeth II Memorial 50p - Charles III portrait

Firstly - expect stock issues, it is likely that Royal Mint packaging and coins are still in production - the Royal Mint have mentioned a 6 week delay which is expected to increase.

It may be that you're best chance of receiving your coin this year is to order the cheaper BU in card 50p.

The Westminster Collection should have tens of thousands available on release - this would be our recommendation to buy from. A quantity of these will be allocated to the 50p subscription customers - we do expect the initial stock allocation to sell out.

At that point Westminster will have to wait for re-supply from The Royal Mint (who will be very busy falling behind with production of base metal BU / circulation and precious metal versions of the 3 coins).

We expect The Koin Club to receive a lower allocation and would not be surprised if the coins show as awaiting stock at 9am on Monday. They will take orders for items they don't have available - and have been known to cancel orders they can't or don't want to fulfil.

The first King Charles III coin to enter circulation

If you're a collector of 50ps from circulation - the 2022 Elizabeth II Memorial 50p (Charles III obverse) is marked for circulation - but currently not expected to hit cash centres until December. It may be sooner or later or even not at all in certain circumstances.
