The coin shows a queue of people, queuing through a letter Q. The British public are used to waiting in line and queue with a certain level of dignity (most of the time). In the UK we queuing is part of everyday life and is accepted as such.

The Royal Mint released the Quintessentially British A to Z coin 10p collection in March 2018, with first strike Q for Queuing coins sold online for £2 each, or on a card from The Royal Mint shop for £4.
