In a Royal Mint video interview with the Archery coin designer Piotr Powaga (click image above to view), asked what was the inspiration behind your idea?, Piotr said: My first perception of the idea to design something was to put some kind of link between ancient sports and Olympic Games today so I thought of archery and running.
