Disney Winnie the Pooh 50p

New Disney Winnie the Pooh 50p

There have been a number of 50p shaped tokens produced showing the newer Disney version of Winnie the Pooh in his short red jumper.

There are a number of Winnie the Pooh 50p Koin Club sets available - which include other characters based on the new Disney images such as Eeyore, Tigger, Kanga and Owl.

Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and Piglet 50p Coins

The set will consist of at least 3 coins like the ones shown in this mock up - but more likely showing the Disney classic versions of the Winnie-the-Pooh characters based on the drawings from the original Winnie the Pooh books by E.H. Shepherd.

The Bradford Exchange did create a 50p shaped commemorative which showed the classic Winnie-the-Pooh holding a balloon and surrounded by bees.

There are already searches for winnie the pooh 50p ebay - with sellers offering the coin as a pre-order item based on buying wholesale quantities at retail prices from the Change Checker eBay shop. Whilst there is an agreement in place between The Royal Mint and 288 Group Limited, so the carded coins can't be sold in large numbers to resellers, those looking to re-sell often buy 50 at a time from Change Checker using multiple eBay accounts.

The Royal Mint have a page where you can sign up to receive email updates about this new collection of 50p coins.

The first coin will be available as Winnie the Pooh 50p Gold Proof, Winnie the Pooh 50p Silver Proof and Winnie the Pooh 50p BU (Brilliant Uncirculated).
