The Brunel Engineer £2 coin marked the 200th anniversary in 2006 of the birth of Brunel. The design by Rod Kelly shows a portrait of Brunel with top hat an cigar in front of 2 of his engineering achivements, with the gold outer circled by linked chains. The two pound coin is circulated and protected in a small plastic wallet.
