The Soldier 50p marked the 150th anniversary in 2006 of the Victoria Cross. This 2019 dated Brilliant Uncirculated 50p is a re-issue of the original 2006 coin to celebrate 50 years of the 50p. The design by Clive Duncan shows the shape of the Victoria Cross in the background as a heroic soldier carries an injured colleague back to safety. The fifty pence piece is presented in a Coin Hunter card measuring 85mm x 61mm, sealed and protected by a plastic blister.
