The Soldier 50p marked the 150th anniversary in 2006 of the Victoria Cross. This 2019 dated Brilliant Uncirculated 50p is a re-issue of the original 2006 coin to celebrate 50 years of the 50p. The design by Clive Duncan shows the shape of the Victoria Cross in the background as a heroic soldier carries an injured colleague back to safety. The 2019 Soldier 50p piece is struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality and protected by a plastic blister inside a sealed Coin Hunter card measuring 85mm x 61mm. The card has been signed by the coin designer Clive Duncan and is limited edition presentation of just 12 cards.
